-Occupational Health and Safety -First Aid Fire fighting Safety Representative Safety Officer Learners will understand the objectives and statutory requirements pertaining to health and safety in the workplace. The course also explains the rights, powers, functions and duties of the workplace health and safety representative, and how any errant HSE issues should be handled. Learners will be able to participate in the HSE structures and measure these activities according to HSE requirements. Each brick layer training centre combines skills and techniques with practical implementation. These are taught in large groups which can be involved in the training exercises for up to 4 weeks at a time. When are the brick layer courses? Brick layer courses are run as and when there is a demand for them. PLUMBING TRAINING: BASIC PLUMBING AND TRADE TEST TRAINING. The Basic Plumbing Course is an 8 day theoretical course with some basic practical elements. This course introduces you to Plumbing and teaches all the systems, tools and fittings. This course needs to be done before the Solar Water Heating course can be done.
Scaffolding Erector This scaffolding training course consists of both safe erection and inspection of scaffolding in compliance with the South African National Standards (SANS) 10085. The unit standards serve, in conjunction with related unit standards to enable the learner to perform as a scaffold inspector and/or eringector depending on chosen direction. Topics discussed involve design, compliance and roles and responsibilities of both scaffolding inspectors and erectors. The topic is thus divided into two main courses: scaffolding erection and scaffolding inspection each consisting of a separate set of modules.Avada/templates (Unit Standard: 263245 – NQF Level: 3 – Credits: 5) – Erect, use and dismantle access scaffolding This course is designed around four modules covering topics like managing the scene of an emergency, the basic human anatomy and physiology as well as the primary and secondary survey.
